Position Overview: We are currently seeking a talented Controls Engineer to join a dynamic automation integrator based in Detroit, MI. As a Controls Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, programming, and implementing control systems for various automation projects across industries 

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop control systems, including PLC and HMI programming, for automation projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver customized solutions.
• Conduct system integration, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Provide technical support and guidance during the installation and commissioning phases of projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in control systems technology.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in controls engineering within the automation industry, preferably with an integrator.
• Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) and HMI development.
• Strong understanding of control system design principles and industrial communication protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Prior experience with automotive or manufacturing automation projects is a plus.
