About the Company
A specialized advisory firm focused on renewable energy, waste-to-value, low-carbon fuels, and distributed energy solutions. Led by industry experts with extensive experience in sustainable infrastructure, the firm has successfully guided multi-billion-dollar infrastructure transactions and secured significant early-stage capital. Working with developers, investors, and infrastructure stakeholders across North America and globally, the company helps bring innovative projects to market by providing hands-on project development and financial structuring support.

The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing firm in a high-demand industry. The role provides exposure to a diverse range of sustainable infrastructure projects and the chance to work directly with industry leaders. The position offers hands-on experience in project development, finance, risk management, and engineering while engaging with key stakeholders such as developers, investors, and policymakers. Projects span across Canada, the U.S., and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Structuring & Execution – Develop frameworks, manage risk, and implement financing strategies.

  • Project Finance & De-Risking – Assess bankability, structure investments, and manage financial models.

  • Engineering Design Development – Collaborate with engineers to guide feasibility studies and technical assessments.

  • Permitting & Approvals – Oversee regulatory processes and environmental assessments.

  • Stakeholder & Consultant Management – Coordinate with legal teams, government agencies, and advisors.

  • Procurement & Contracting – Lead RFP processes and negotiate EPC/O&M agreements.

  • Risk & Commercial Strategy – Identify risks and develop strategies to optimize project viability and investor confidence.

Who You Are (Ideal Candidate)

  • 5+ years of experience in project development, infrastructure advisory, or project finance.

  • Background in renewable energy, waste-to-value, low-carbon fuels, or distributed energy solutions.

  • Strong understanding of project finance, risk management, and development processes.

  • Ability to interpret financial models and technical reports.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects and drive results.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects in the renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure sectors.

  • Hybrid, Toronto-based role with a balance of remote and in-person collaboration.

  • Fast-moving, entrepreneurial work environment with significant growth potential.

  • Direct exposure to investors, policymakers, and top-tier industry professionals.

This role is ideal for someone looking to be at the intersection of project development and finance—helping to bring complex projects to market, secure funding, manage execution, and work directly with key stakeholders.
